Bome Special

Monsieur Bome is a widely known sculptor working for Kaiyodo. The main draw of his stuff is that the figures are cheap (around $20-25), while still managing to look pretty good, so they’re perfect for new collectors. They’re also officially distributed in the US so you don’t have to find an importer.
- First we have Jungle Girl Emi, and… you know, I think these pics are out of order.
- Yeah, definitely out of order.
- There we go! There’s the cheerful jungle goddess!
- Here’s a full view. Her base is neat, with the grass and leaves and such.
- A bit more of Emi’s face. I’ve heard that her top’s removable in the Japanese version. No such luck here.
- And one last shot of Emi
- This one’s probably my favorite among the Bomes, combining a unique outfit, pose and weapon (who else has a bow?)
- This is Isoroku Yamamoto from Sengoku Lance (named after the real-life general)
- Normally Bome’s sculpts look pretty static but this one has a lot of implied movement with the flowing clothes and hair.
- A shot from the side so you can see what I mean
- And from the back
- The right side
- And right-front
- Finally we have what I believe is #3 in a series of unnamed Oni-girls
- Like all oni, she has the tiger-striped clothing, horns and spiked iron club.
- The mirrored base was a nice touch, it lets you see more of the details of this unique pose.
- Here you go, a nice facefull of oni-butt.
- And fron the side you can see her neat shoes and tattoo.
- Moar!
- I think this is the best view for seeing all the details at once.
Sorry I don’t have details for these. They should be relatively easy to find – even places Suncoast sell them from time to time.
